The SRT-6100 is a new-generation meter developed according to the 4 international standards: ISO, ANSI, DIN, and JIS. Its purpose is to measure the roughness of various surfaces, such as machined parts. The widest application is found in the light and heavy industry, and besides measuring, it also provides the ability to calculate the corresponding parameters in relation to the selected measurement conditions.
This appliance uses a highly sensitive inductive sensor that gently slides along the surface by moving the mechanism inside the tester. The sensor gets the surface roughness level by means of a sharp built-in probe. This roughness causes the probe to be displaced, resulting in a change of the inductive amount of induction coils so as to generate an analog signal that is proportional to the surface roughness at the output end of the phase-sensitive rectifier.
After a series of exceptional DSP processes and calculations, the unit displays measurement results on the LCD display, and it is also possible to transfer data to a computer via USB data output and RS-232 data output as well as Bluetooth ™ data output for later review and Analysis. With compact size and minimum weight, this device is easily portable and can be used under all conditions.
The appliance is widely used in the manufacturing industry for:
